A little about me
I trained at the prestigious Guildford School of Acting and have been teaching acting since 2005. I have worked for well-known theatre schools in the UK and Ireland and as an acting coach for crowd on HBO’s Game of Thrones.
I offer coaching one-to-one from a purpose-built studio space in East Belfast. I enjoy seeing my students’ talents develop over time and am dedicated to helping them to realize their ambitions.
Many of my acting students have gone on to study at accredited drama schools, and been offered roles in professional film, television and theatre productions. All ages and abilities welcome!

Acting Coaching Testimonials
Sara’s dedication and belief in her students makes her the phenomenal tutor she is. Not only did she help me build my confidence from a young age, but she taught me so much with her extensive knowledge of theatre literature.
Without her, I would not be the professional actor that I am today, guiding me in my exams and drama school auditions. Not only is Sara my acting coach, but she is also now a great friend and has helped me grow so much as a performer. Thank you Sara!

I have an interest in acting and Sara has brought me on leaps and bounds. We have together looked at Shakespeare, Ancient roman and Greek works as well as contemporary pieces from various prominent writers. My studies have taken in both theatre and camera work and I was surprised to find I enjoyed theatre so much.
I must say Sara makes her directions very easy to follow and if I ever have had a query she knows how to re-word things so that I understand. In just under two years I have covered a large body of work and am delighted to say I notice her vocabulary frequently changing to describe my improvements! All in all, excellent value for money in a professional environment with a most personable lady who won’t let you down.

I am aiming to become a full-time professional actor and reach my potential as a performer. I wanted to find an acting coach that I could work with on a weekly basis and I did a lot of research online in order to find someone suitable. I have worked with Sara for the last year and a half and I believe she might be the best coach in the North.
Throughout that time, we have worked extensively on audition monologues for drama schools, along with on-camera acting and some accent training. I have improved an incredible amount since I started working with Sara. I have recommended her to other aspiring actors in the past and will continue to do so. Sara is intelligent, articulate, kind, well organised and very knowledgeable about the craft of acting.

I went to Sara for group and individual lessons for around 8 years. In this time she developed my acting skills; entering me in exams and festivals, where I won first place in my Shakespeare. However what makes Sara such an inspiring teacher is that her knowledge around plays and methods which helped me to connect to pieces in a much more authentic fashion.
Thanks to her support and teaching she had sparked my interest so much I applied for Drama school. I am currently now studying on the Musical Theatre BA(hons) at ArtsEd in London. Sara cares for each of her students and her honesty and precision I continue to carry with me and apply to my work.

Sara has tutored my daughter for many years. She is truly an excellent teacher that really gets to know each student as an individual. She’s able to select monologues that challenge the abilities of her students and that suit them well.
She always offers helpful and constructive advice that give her students different perspectives on their acting and pushes them to take their own initiative in their performances. I believe she is great at building confidence in young performers and I would recommend her to anyone looking for an acting tutor.
